"Pitch Your Business"
Carol Stream Chamber Luncheon
Wed., August 8th, 2007
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites ~ Carol Stream

With 62 in attendance, Carol Stream Chamber members 'pitched' their way to a winning event in the Majestic Tent at the Holiday Inn. Members were given 45 seconds to 'pitch' their business to all in attendance, making it memorable. Creativity was alive and well in Carol Stream!

There were wizards and snowflakes, 800 lb gorillas and magic tricks, baseball players and singing chamber members (3 in all). Props used ranged from rolling beds, megaphones, computer parts and cowboy hats, to sandwich board signs, flying baseballs, bloody daggers, and bananas.

Winning "Pitcher", voted by All-Star Ballot, was Robert Sauceda of Midwest Snow Tech who came in as a singing snowflake, reminding all on this hot day in August that winter is coming. He won tickets to a Sox game donated by Mayor Frank Saverino/Saverino and Associates.

Everyone departed with a cardholder of business cards of all in attendance and a greater knowledge of their fellow chamber members' businesses.

Darrel Malcom/Brust Funeral Home 'delivers' his business cards. All in attendance took home everyone's business cards.
