The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce Women In Business held a networking event on Monday, November 3rd at the Historic Farmhouse in Carol Stream. Our speaker was Donna Daniels, a Wheaton resident/actor who was in character as the First Lady, Mary Todd Lincoln. She spoke about and demonstrated clothing of the Civil War period. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the Historic Farmhouse was the perfect setting. We thank the Carol Stream Historical Society for their 'hospitality' as they hosted us. Following the luncheon and speaker, some attendees participated in an ornament exchange. Below are some photos of the event.
